Build your first Hunt

Turn your next career move into clear search preferences.

01Start with a direction

Choose a role or family of roles you actually want. Keep a second career direction in its own Hunt so the recommendations stay meaningful.

02Add your non-negotiables

Set location, remote preferences, salary, and seniority. Verify your profile before using it as the foundation for applications.

03Review, then choose

Read the match reasons and gaps. Save, skip, or authorize applying. You can refine your Hunt as you learn what matters.

How application control works

Understand authorization, final review, and answers that need you.

01You authorize the opportunity

By default, a right swipe starts the application workflow for that role. Saving a role does not authorize submission.

02Choose a final review

Review Before Submit adds a final check before the application is sent. Unknown material details pause the workflow for your input.

03Approve what the agent remembers

Application Memory only reuses answers you approve and allow it to remember. Optional Autopilot needs its own explicit consent and boundaries.

Prepare with your application in view

Connect your practice to the role and the resume you sent.

01Return to the context

Review the role, the submitted resume version, and your application answers. Make a short list of strengths and gaps you expect to discuss.

02Practice one clear story

Use Mock Interview to rehearse a relevant question. Explain the situation, your action, and the outcome; use feedback to improve clarity and structure.

03Open your briefing

Use Interview Buddy before the conversation to review the role, likely questions, and your stories. It is preparation, not a live-answer service.

Help & support

Answers for your everyday job search.

01How do I set up my search?

Start with your profile, then choose your target roles, location, work arrangement, and pay preferences. Keep separate career directions in separate searches so your recommendations stay relevant.

02Can I change my resume or profile?

Yes. Open Profile to update your experience and preferences, or Documents to manage resume versions. Review your details before using them in an application.

03What happens when an application needs an answer?

The application pauses for your input. Open Track, find the item that needs attention, and review the missing answer before continuing.

04Can I control where Spotlight applies?

You choose your application mode and search rules. Review-before-submit gives you a final check. Automatic mode requires explicit authorization and operates within the limits you approve.

05Where can I find an application I saved?

Open your workspace and go to Track or Saved for later. Each application keeps its role details, status, and next step together.

06Are applications and inbox connections live?

The current workspace is an interactive preview. It does not submit real applications or access a live inbox. Sample records let you explore the workflow.

07How do I manage my information?

Review your profile and saved answers in the workspace. Preview data is stored in your browser; clearing site data removes that local state. Read the privacy page for more detail.

Job board connections

Understand where opportunities begin.

01Your search ecosystem

Job boards and company career pages are starting points for discovery. Employer systems handle applications, while email and calendar tools support conversations. Platform names describe this ecosystem, not a promise of live integrations.

Your privacy

Your information should be easy to understand and easy to manage.

01Your workspace information

Your profile, search preferences, saved roles, application answers, and practice content are stored in this browser. Only add information you want to use in your job search.

02Your choices

Review and edit your profile and saved answers in the workspace. Choose which answers can be reused and whether applications need your review.

03Managing stored information

You can remove workspace information through your account settings or your browser’s site-data controls. Clearing site data removes the saved state on that browser.

04Website preferences

Language and cookie preferences are saved on this device. You can update cookie choices from the footer.

Using Spotlight

A few principles for a thoughtful, accurate job search.

01Your profile and applications

Keep your work history, qualifications, and application answers accurate. Review generated material before using it and correct any information that does not reflect your experience.

02Your decisions

Choose which opportunities to pursue. Match scores help you evaluate a role; they do not guarantee an interview or an employment outcome.

03Your application controls

Review your saved answers and application preferences regularly. Optional Autopilot has its own match criteria, daily limits, and approval controls.

04Third-party platforms

Job boards, employer systems, email providers, and calendar platforms have their own terms. Third-party names and logos identify those services and do not imply an affiliation or endorsement.
